Cancellation and refunding policy

All cancellations should be sent in written form to the Congress Secretariat. If cancellation arrives before 1. September 2022 full refund less EUR 100 (as handling fee) of the registration fee will be applied. No refund is available after this date, though substitution in person will be accepted.

If you have made an accommodation booking, either through us or independently, you are responsible for cancelling this separately. The organizers take no responsibility for any financial penalties you may incur.

The organizers reserves the right to cancel the “14th Vienna Int. Workshop on FES” and “Post-Conference Courses” at any time. In the event of cancellation you will receive a full refund of the registration fee, however we are not responsible for any other expenses incurred (hotel, airline, etc).

No show up cases

The organizers take efforts to run a successful conference. Based on the list of registrants and order status conference services will be provided in enough numbers. Please take into consideration that after deadlines some conference materials and meals or hotel rooms cannot be cancelled or resold and therefore no refund is available. However, substitution in person is always acceptable.

Disclaimer

The organizers cannot be held responsible for any personal injury, loss, damage, accident to private property, or additional expenses incurred as a result of delays or changes in air, rail, sea, road or other services, strikes, sickness, weather, war, sports and other causes. Luggage is at owners’ risk throughout unless insured.

For the “14th Vienna Int. Workshop on FES” and “Post-Conference Courses” registration and payment will be handled via the bmt2022.at page. All related policies and declarations apply.

Data Protection Policy

Data provided during registration will be stored in the website related database. Data will not be shared with third parties and will only be used for communication in frame of the conference, for printing receipts, name tags and other conference related material. Your email address will be used to announce future events. Every email includes an opt-out feature to unsubscribe from further mailings. You contact the Congress Secretariat if you want to have all your data removed from your database. It might happen in rare cases that for technical reasons the database has to be restored from a backup and therefore the deleted data set reapers. For technical reasons the data set cannot be deleted from backups.

How long we retain your data

For users that register we store the personal information they provide for infinite time. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information. Data cannot be deleted from backup files (see above “Data Protection Policy”). Backup files are retained for one year.

What rights you have over your data

If you have registered on this site you can request to receive screenshots of the personal data, we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we delete any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
